HTTrack 3.50 beta

The first Windows build since 3.49-2 (May 2017), on engine 3.49.15, signed by Open Source Developer Roche Xavier.
  • HTTPS with OpenSSL 3: TLS 1.2 and 1.3, and through an HTTP proxy.
  • Large files, long paths, any alphabet: past 2 GB, past the 260-character path limit, accented and non-Latin names.
  • Updates that protect your mirror: a server error leaves your copy alone, resumes honour byte ranges, and a truncated body is never cached as complete.
  • Modern pages: srcset and lazy-loaded images, <source> and <track> media, SVG sprite fragments, RFC 9309 robots.txt.
  • New crawl modes: --sitemap seeds from the site's own sitemap, --single-file writes pages that stand alone, --changes reports what an update did.
Also: SOCKS5 proxies, brotli and zstd, --why to see which filter rule decided a URL, and WARC/1.1 output with a CDXJ index and WACZ packaging.

An alpha: signed and notarized, but no Mac other than the one that built it has ever opened it. Please try it and report what happens, good or bad, on issue 901. Two things to look at. First launch should ask whether to open an app downloaded from the Internet; "cannot be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software" is a bug. And the prompt asking for access to the folder you mirror into should name HTTrack, not a shell or Terminal.
See the full list of changes and the exact sources this build was made from. Report anything you find: engine, Windows interface.
